Project Overview
Democratit is an Israeli political party that was founded during 2019. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, they were in need of digital tools to helps their supporters partake in their democratic processes.
My Contribution
I designed the website and worked together with the product manager on user flows for party registration, application for primaries and donations. I also designed other graphic elements such as social images.
Website Design
The website had two main goals: to provide information about the party and to make it possible to join the party. There were also forums to allow discussions between party members. I designed the website using a bootstrap grid, that made the responsive design easier to implement.
Registration User Flow
Because registering as a party member is a heavily bureaucratic process, we aimed at making it as simple as possible. We first listed all the legal requirements and then proceeded to define the user flow. Next I designed wireframes to explore the user flow in more detail, which led to changes. Finally, I designed the UI to match the brand. We used the same process for the donation and application for primaries flow.
Graphic Design
Besides the website, I also designed other graphic elements for the party such as social sharing posts, flyers and branded merch.
